Homemade Kale Chips

Wash your kale, let dry, then pat dry if needed.

Add your choice of oil. We used extra virgin olive oil. I put it in a plastic container and let John go crazy shaking it so that they got fully coated.

Lay them out on a cookie sheet.

Add whatever seasonings you like.

Cook on 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. Just keep an eye on them.

Enjoy :)

Pineapple Angel Food Cake

This was the easiest recipe I have ever baked. I found the recipe on Pinterest but the link sent me out into the interwebs outer space. To nothing..which drives me crazy. So I am not referencing it on here. After googling I found out this is a weight watchers friendly recipe. I brought this to my Mother's of Preschooler's group, it's almost gone. The rest I will be eating! Haha.

Recipe:
One Box Angel Food Cake Mix
One 20 Ounce Can of Crushed Pineapple in their own juices.

Mix Together- It gets turns into a very frothy mixture
Pour into 9X13 pan, I didn't grease it first
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

That's It! Your done.... Enjoy!

A mild weekend

So after getting rain and snow on Friday here in Philadelphia, God decided to give us sunshine and warmth on Saturday. It was such a drastic change in the weather, but much appreciated. My mom was here visiting for a couple of days. We did lots of shopping and going out to lunch... Target and Longhorn two of our favorite things! Saturday afternoon at the peak of the sunshine we decided to take a walk with the kiddies to the woods in the back of our neighborhood. There is a little creek and train tracks above. John enjoyed throwing a ton of rocks and making the biggest splashes in the creek. Olivia ended up joining in. It was so nice just to get some fresh air and stretch our legs...and we took some fun pictures.
